Strategic Access

In addition to finished roadways, the Coast Guard Road landfill is unique in that it has barge access. EO can access barges in a variety of ways to offload containerized and bulk materials. Wastes never cross public highways to gain entry to the landfill from the dock, resulting in sizeable transfer cost savings and reduced environmental exposure for our customers.

The dock is located just off Tiger Pass, within a few miles from the Mississippi River.

Projects involving spill clean-up materials, contaminated bulk materials, unused drilling mud additives, soils, well abandonment, scrap metals, and processed NOW materials greatly benefit from EO's barge-to-landfill operations.

Note: EO accepts Processed NOW solids as part of DNR's beneficial reuse program.
